Our Elf is Back!

The girls were so excited when their elf, Flower Snowflake, arrived after thanksgiving! His job is to keep an eye on the girls to make sure they behave for Christmas so they both end up on the Good Girl List.

They found him strung up on the ceiling by the sprinkler alarm! He's so silly!

Happy Thanksgiving!

In the midst of our move, Victor cooked a fabulous meal. We enjoyed a traditional feast with all the trimmings. The greenbean casserole was the family favorite, followed by the sweet potato.

After our feast, we went for a walk in the snow. It was falling lightly all day with below freezing temperatures in the 20's. Even though we were bundled up, we could feel the chill.

Then we watched Christmas movies by the fire. The grinch who stole chtistmas, Horton hears a who, and rudolf were our thanksgiving picks!
We are so grateful for our family. We miss our Florida and Texas families so much!!

Thanks Honey!

After launching our T3 campaign announcing our payment solutions at SRS Acquiom, my wonderful husband sent me a beautiful bouquet of yellow roses, lilies and irises. I was so surprised when they arrived in the middle of a meeting. And, I was delighted everyone got to share in my celebration. Thank you honey! You made my day.

Thank You Mimi!

Mimi sent the girls Christmas money so they could pick out something they really wanted at the store. So this afternoon, after running a few errands, we stopped at Target to see if the girls could find a gift.
Before we even got to the store Sierra had decided she wanted a Lego set. And that's exactly what she got... A cute Legio Treehouse with tiny little figurines. Audrey found a beautiful frozen doll set!  Thank you Mimi for the fun day of shopping!

Breakfast in Bed

This morning we treated the girls to breakfast in bed. Pancakes with strawberries and bananas! Happy Sunday!

Christmas Celebration in the Park

After school, Sierra had a play date with her friend Sophia. So Audrey, Victor and I went to Stapleton green park to see the Christmas tree lighting. There were marshmallow roasts, dancing Christmas trees, music, Santa and lots of firepits to keep us warm...

It was snowing for most of the time, but that didn't stop the fun.
We met up with friends, and later Sierra and Sophia's family met us there to join in on the fun.
Below Sierra hangs out with her friends Cassidy, Sophia, Lauren and Matthew.
It's official...Winter has arrived!

Pajama Day!

It was pajama day and birthday celebration day at school today...pj's, cupcakes, and friends! What fun!
Audrey had a great day. Her daddy also got to join the party and celebrate along with her.

Our 1st Gingerbread House

This year we thought it would be a good idea to make a gingerbread house for the holidays. So while we were at Bass Pro Shop for the parade and tree lighting, we picked up a kit.
On Sunday after breakfast we started making our house. Excited to create a masterpiece, we followed the directions perfectly...
Once the icing was in place, the girls started decorating... and eating a lot of the candies...
All was going great until the roof started to slip...and after the first slide of the rooftop, there was no way to fix it. The icing was drying out and it wouldn't stick anymore.

How I wished we had an extra container of icing, and it could've been perfect. Oh well, the girls loved eating the gumdrops and thought the gingerbread was yummy too! Merry Christmas to all!

Introducing Audrey's New Snow Suit

Audrey went shopping today with her daddy for a new snowsuit. She found the cutest purple snowflake jacket and pants.

We can't wait to teach her how to ski this season. Now, we're ready to go!

Thanksgiving Luncheon

Today, Victor and I had the pleasure of joining our two girls for a thanksgiving luncheon at their school. We got Audrey out of class early with her friend Annika, and met Sierra and her friend, Cassidy, in the cafeteria.

It was a fun way to celebrate Thanksgiving and be together!

Santa's Parade in Stapleton!

After a lazy breakfast, we ran around doing errands, then drove to the north field shopping center to see Santa. He arrived after a parade through the center, then he lit the bass pro shop Christmas tree.

The girls were very excited to see Santa and Mrs. Claus...
There were singers and dancers performing before the parade...
The parade was filled with silly vehicles, clowns, a bus, and Elsa and Olaf!
Santa and Mrs. Claus waved at us from their pontoon boat.
We took lots of photos in front of the incredible scenery at bass pro shop.
There was a merry go round that the girls took a spin on...
Audrey found a sweet reindeer to ride...
Sierra found the polar bear...
It was tons of fun!!!
On our way home, the girls got their faces painted, had a cup of cocoa and met Elsa snd Olaf! It was a great night.

Waffle Fun!

Good morning to all! The girls are having fun with waffles this morning for breakfast.
Have a great day...we're going to meet Santa later today. ⛄️🌲🎅🏼

Our First Snow

Last night a storm blew in with heavy rain, and when temperatures hit freezing, we got snow! And, lots of it!
At 6am when the girls woke up, they were so excited to see what looked like a white blanket covering all the rooftops. We ran up to the balcony to find fresh powdery snow, so we grabbed a handful of snow each to eat!

Audrey's final project!

Audrey composed her journal entry by narrating to me. After picking up our photos at the store, she  cut them out and she taped them in her book like a pro!
She added a few drawings...
and stickers...
And she was done!
Thank you miss Schmidt for giving Audrey a turn with Hulk! We hope he can come back and visit again soon!

Day 3 with Hulk...

On Sunday, we enjoyed shopping nearby. We played outside on the bear statues posing with Hulk, then went to get a hair cut!
Hulk the hawk was a good sport and got his feathers trimmed too!
Audrey enjoyed having her hair cut and styled in a salon.  After her cut, she got a braid with sparkles like her big sister!
Such beautiful girls! We had lunch together then went to see the Peanuts movie in the theatre! What a treat!
Christmas decorations are already all around town! The girls were amazed at the fountain now covered in lights and sparkling decor
Once we got home, we played a few games, including a fun round of Twister!

Fun with Hulk... Day 2

Sierra's friend Jesse had a "Frozen" themed birthday party, so we got all dressed up as princesses and took Hulk with us.

Annika was there from Audrey's class so it was not only fun for Sierra but Audrey too!
They made sparkle wands, colored pictures...
They enjoyed melted Olaf treats made with yogurt and pretzels...
And, of course they laughed and played...a lot!
Then watched the movie Frozen!
The birthday treats were yummy chocolate and peanut rice crispy stars, which were very tasty!

All the girls were mesmerized by the movie...
Even if they had seen it a dozen most had. Happy birthday Jesse & thanks for inviting us!
