Sierra was invited to Margo's 7th birthday party at launch - a local trampoline gym. She had a great time bouncing, bumping and having a crazy time! Below she hugs her friend Margo, the birthday girl.

Winter Just Won't Let Go!

It snowed again all day today, so we decided to go see Cinderella at the movie theatre. First movie ever for the girls. They LOVED it!

Thank you Donna & Jimmy!

Just in time for springtime makeovers Auntie Donna and Uncle Jimmy sent the girls princess makeup kits! Of course, the style maven of Wickford knows exactly what the girls like! Sparkling makeup and stickers!  Thanks Donna and Jimmy!

Notice the beautiful makeup application Sierra did for Audrey!!!

Thank you Mimi!

The girls love getting mail. Last Saturday a package arrived from Mimi for the girls. She sent beautiful shirts and necklaces for spring! Thanks a bunch Mimi!!!

Audrey's artwork

Audrey loves to draw. After creating two beautiful fairies, she wanted swans to color so I drew a quick outline and Audrey did the rest. So much fun to be 4!

A Surprise Ski Day....

Just when we thought spring was here, winter refuses to subside. A western storm brought 4-6 inches of snow. But that didn't keep Sierra and I inside. We decided to head to Yawgoo for one last ski day!

At noon we arrived and it was lightly snowing. We thought the place would be packed, but it wasn't. Sierra and I practically had the place to ourselves. It was awesome.  We warmed up in the tow-rope then headed for Conan, the chairlift. With a couple breaks in between we skied from noon til close at 5pm

Sierra said she's never skied that long before, but the time flew by as mom and daughter rode every trail...even the black diamond trail that looked a little too steep last time we were there! It was a glorious day and our last goodbye to winter! Wahoo!!

Below are 2 videos of me following Sierra down our first ski run of the day. Enjoy!

We'll miss you, Tina!

Miss Tina is leaving for Bulgaria today and won't be home for six weeks. The girls will miss her and the fabulous tea parties she hosts, as well as the fun walks she and the girls take on the occasional mid-afternoon with their daddy. Have fun visiting your friends and family, but hurry home!

A Monday afternoon nap...

After school on Monday afternoon, Audrey was playing in her room. When her Daddy came looking for her he discovered her in her room, wrapped in her canopy fast asleep!
We love you Audrey!

Climbing at Rock Spot

This Sunday, after church Sierra went rick climbing again with her daddy. She was so excited to climb and reached new heights on many of the walls! She's so fast climbing each wall and has to slow down to plan her route.
After only 2 hours at the gym she was sad when she had to leave to come home!
On one of the walls, she was free climbing without a safety line and reached the very top, she lost her grip and fell ten feet to a padded mattess. It was a tough fall and she landed right on her left arm. She cried for a second and then after the shock, got right back up to climb the same path, but this time she climbed right over to the top!
Way to go, Sierra! We are so proud of you for conquering your fears and never quitting!

A perfect rainbow...

As the girls were walking with Victor one afternoon through Wickford, they looked up at the sky and saw the most beautiful, crescent moon rainbow...

What a wonderful Friday afternoon!

Sierra's Crazy Hair Day

Today was "Caps for a Cause" day at Sierra's school. In an effort to support the Pennies for Patients fundraiser, Sierra could either wear a crazy hat or wear her hair in a crazy style! She chose the hairstyle. And, donating a dollar gave her the chance to help people with leukemia or lymphoma and show her support by showing off her hairdo.

We thought a birds nest on top of her head would go the trick. So we took her long blond locks and created braids wrapped in a circle on her head then put branches, a sprig of holly, and 2 birds in the nest. It was awesome! Everyone in her class thought it was cool and asked to touch the birds! What a fun day!

And, all this happened before 8 am, and we were rushing to catch her bus, so sorry for no close-ups!

It's Wacky Wednesday!

In honor of Dr. Suess's birthday, Audrey's  class had "wacky Wednesday" today. She was excited to wear her dress backwards, put in 2 different shoes and tie her hair in wacky braids and ponytails.
It's so much fun to be 4!

The Rock Spot

After Sunday school we decided to visit the Rock Spot, a rock climbing gym.  At the flower show where we learned about the gym, Sierra climbed clear to the top of the rock wall on her first try!

Today she was very excited to try again. She geared up and strapped on to the rope to climb 25 feet to the top of the wall. She loved it and climbed for 3 solid hours while Audrey and I waited on the third floor watching all the fun...

Audrey was so good drawing and coloring and playing with me. After Sierra's wild time at the gym, of course we signed Sierra up for the April session which gives her a 4 month membership and weekly lessons in the youth program called "stone runners". Whoo-hoo!

Afterwards, we went to Mews for dinner to celebrate! Way to go Sierra!

Church school fun...

Today in Sunday school we sang songs with the 1st graders and then talked about Noah and the arc. We made artwork with doves holding olive branches. Below Sierra poses with Miss Bonnie and shows off her art....

Audrey's beautiful rainbow dove is below...
Happy Lent everyone.
