Who loves pumpkin pie?

We do! After dinner and a nice, rejuvenating nap, we indulged in pumpkin pie!

One word describes it al...delicious!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving started early when the girls woke up happy to start the new day! Daddy made us a wonderfully delicious eggs Benedict breakfast with mimosas!
Our feast for the day began around 1:00 pm. Afterwards, the girls took a nap so we could have our cherished quiet time. Later, we brought out the pumpkin pie which was a big hit!
Thank you Victor for making a feast we all enjoyed. We are so very thankful for our love, our family, our health, and all that we have been given in this life!

Biomes fun...

When it's 19 degrees outside what do you do?
We go to Biomes! The aquatic center had a new octopus that just laid eggs and a new Cobia getting use to its new home. The girls loved seeing all the new touch tanks, and showing off for mommy!

Learning to dip cookies...

Cookies are great, but cookies dipped in milk are better! Victor showed the Giles how to dip their cookies in milk.

It was a big hit! Thanks daddy!

Poinsettias Everywhere!!

Sierra and Audrey were amazed at how beautiful the poinsettias were at a local farm. Sierra picked the perfect one!
Christmas is coming and the girls are so excited about decorating the house!

Sierra in her Ballet Class...

Sierra loves to dance and is having so much fun in her new ballet class.

This past Saturday, I took a quick video showing her dance around the circles on the floor with her wand.  So cute. So energetic. So great learning new things…
At the end of the class there is a 5 -10 minute period where the teacher turns off the lights, turns on a lighted disco ball and the girls have free dance! They twirl, slide, tap, run, hold hands and dance any way they feel inspired.  It's such a cool way to end the class!  Thanks Miss Megan!

This is Heaven!

In Rhode Island all ice-cream shops close down for the winter!  We were amazed and horrified in learning this fact, so now, we make sure to eat all the ice-cream we can while it's still in season!  Pure heaven for the girls…take a peek at how much they enjoy the delicious frozen treat!

Our Groovy Girls!

With no school on Friday, Victor took the girls to Barnes and Noble. In addition to finding new books to read, they love playing with the Groovy Girls dolls and accessories! They would play in that corner of the store for hours if we let them! Below is a photo showing them play today.
After playing with the groovy girl dolls, reading was next...
Then off to play with the nooks!
Thanks for a fun afternoon, daddy!

Flips Are Fun!

While at the playground, Sierra shows me how good she is at flipping! Always landing on her feet, just like the kitten she is! Ha! We love you Sierra! Great job!

And, both girls love swinging…the higher the better. Sierra's a pro and can make herself go higher and higher, while Audrey likes to be pushed.  It's so much fun to be a big kid.

Final Farewell...

Our neighbors are leaving today, so the girls ran next door to give Uncle Jimmy one last hug!

The girls say, "Come Home Soon!"

Good-bye Auntie Donna & Uncle Jimmy

After arriving in July, our neighbors and friends are returning to Nevada for the winter. We'll miss you. The girls hope you will come back soon.

Below victor reminded the girls that you were leaving, and they are not happy about it... Have safe travels. We'll miss you!

Carousel Fun...

According to the girls, every now and then, you should stop and ride a carousel.

It was fun!

Having fun with Sierra!

While Audrey was napping, Sierra and I rode bikes to the beach. It was high tide so there wasn't much room to run and play, but it was fun collecting shells and sea glass. Below Sierra poses on the rocks...
Collecting shells and feeling the freezing cold water...
Having a moment with mommy...
And once we returned home, we played in the leaves in our yard.
Happy Veterans day to all!

Happy Veteran's Day!

Today's parade was a lot of fun. The girls and I arrived early to get a curbside view on the corner.  Daddy wished he could have joined us, but had errands to run...

The girls sat patiently waiting as the parade approached in the distance.
A marching band lead the way...
...followed by hay rides...
...the dogs of Wickford...
...the Daisy Troops and Boy Scouts...
...and Thomas the Train!

Lots of candy was tossed to bystanders and the girls caught their fair share!
A goat from Casey Farm pulled the final  cart to finish the parade.
Happy Veteran's Day to all!

Ballet & Tap Dancing Classes

This morning began the fall session for Sierra's ballet and tap dance classes. Miss Megan who previously taught at the YMCA started her own studio, Dynamic Dance. Her class format is so much more fun and starts with 15 minutes of tap, then 30 minutes of ballet instruction then 15 minutes of free dancing in the dark with rainbow colored lights flashing everywhere! Sierra did great and can't wait to go back next week.

Below are photos of her first session where they learn ballet steps like pleats, leaping, and the basic positions.

Sierra is on the green dot wearing her hair in a long braided ponytail.

It's November!

The girls woke up this cold November morning wanting to make a craft. So we looked around and noticed a the beautiful fall colored leaves all over our yard in orange, red and yellow. The perfect inspiration to make turkey pictures! Sierra and Audrey made twin birds on a starry night.

It's Raja's 5th Birthday!

For Raja's 5th birthday, her mother, Lena, planned a party at Chuck E. Cheese. We had never been there before, and it was a wild party with an arcade, rides, and games. Sierra had a great time and Audrey kept close by my side since it was pretty loud...there were at least 4 other birthdays going on.

After winning hundreds of tickets, Sierra was happy to go home with a cute butterfly bracelet.

Thanks for all the fun Raja! Happy birthday!
